CCMA09: What happens in Pittsburgh stays in Pittsburgh

Hello to all from over­cast Pitts­burgh, PA. I’m here for the 53^rd annual Con­sumer Coop­er­a­tive Man­age­ment Asso­ci­a­tion con­fer­ence. I’ll be serv­ing as a rep­re­sen­ta­tive to the Board of Direc­tors for People’s Food Co-op, as well as emis­sary to the IS4C/Fannie soft­ware projects. I hope to use this great oppor­tu­nity to sponge up as much info and knowl­edge as i can to enrich our board expe­ri­ence and learn from the hun­dreds of other con­sumer co-ops rep­re­sented here.  I’ll also be pre­sent­ing on the cur­rent state of the soft­ware and demo­ing the lat­est features.

I hope to be able to blog reg­u­larly through­out the week­end for the pur­pose of cap­tur­ing as much of the “juicy bits” as pos­si­ble and shar­ing them with my fel­low board mem­bers (and any oth­ers inter­ested, though i doubt there are many of those).
