I just thought this was too hilarious: In a room full of cooperators from all over the country i find Lori (People’s), Holly (Food Front), and Courtney (Alberta) standing around a table gabbing for the better part of the evening. I tried at one point to bust them up and encourage some more mingling but they were so engrossed in their convo. And all of them said the same thing: ”We never get to do this in Portland.” They had to fly all the way across the country in order to sit around a table and shoot the breeze. HA! In their defense, i think they were talking about Marc’s excellent history project and sharing some of the gems that he shared with us at the board retreat.
I realize Lori’s head is turned but you can tell it’s her, right?
