CCMA09: Help needed…Scheduling

Hey Boardies! If you’re out there i need your help! There are way too many great-sounding seminars to attend and i need to figure out which ones to attend! And soon! So here’s the break-down, starting with Friday AM:

Friday June 12th 10:30am—12:00pm:

In this in-depth discussion hear how the current climate presents special concerns for shoppers, competition, trading partners and new associates.

Giving Effective Feedback (Sarah Zaug, Wedge Community Co-op) – Communicating feedback to others can sometimes be a difficult and stressful process.  This workshop will provide you with the techniques on how to hold effective feedback discussions.  You’ll leave with a ‘tool-kit’ of key phrases to assist you in leading a successful dialogue.

Which should i attend!?!  If i don’t attend the “tough economic times” one there are 1 or 2 more opportunities to check it out.  But as is to be expected, there are difficult decisions to make there as well….

While I’m at it, maybe you can weigh in on the afternoon session as well, here’s what i’m juggling:

What can your board do in special circumstances such as an expansion project or economic recession? In this workshop we will explore how to make the most of the board’s relationship with the member owners.

  • FWIW, I like “feedback” in the AM and “linkage” in the PM. But please let me know your prefs. I’m also really interested in testing out this whole interactive conference-going thing.
