So y’know how every­thing you type in a search field gets stored and sug­gested back to you for ever and ever?  Have you ever wanted to remove one par­tic­u­lar (pos­si­bly embarrassing/incriminating) search term from those lists?  Here’s a super-easy way to accom­plish this:

you can remove it from the drop-down list by high­light­ing it (using arrow keys) and then press­ing shift + delete.

That’s it.

I’ve been Mac-ing for quite a while now and i’ve picked up quite a few tips and tricks along the way.  Many of which i delight in shar­ing with you all.  But i will never pro­fess to know it all.  And tips like this one pop up through the inter­nets to prove to me that i do NOT in fact know it all.  And never ever will.
