From the company that don’t “be evil“, a generous and vocal gesture in support of cooperation:
CDF Gets a $120,000 Google Grant
The Cooperative Development Foundation recently received $120,000 in ad credits from Google.org, the non-profit arm of the search-engine giant. The grant helps CDF boost its ranking on the Google search engine, and helps gain greater recognition for its cooperative development funds and annual events. To learn more, contact CDF’s executive director, Steve Thomas, by e-mail or by phone at (703) 302-8093.
Is this the start? The Gates Foundation could be next. And all those other foundations that make NPR happen. I applaud this act.
