  A handy FF plu­gin that makes the sta­tus bar (at the bot­tom of the browser win­dow) obso­lete. Sim­ply dis­plays a link URL in the loca­tion bar rather than the sta­tus bar.

• WheresMyCellPhone.com –

  For when your friends aren’t around.

  I def­i­nitely could have used some­thing like this a cou­ple times in the past.

• iCon­vert: Con­vert ico, icns, and png icons online for Win­dows, Mac OS X, and Linux –

  I love it when webapps take the place of those on-off lit­tle appli­ca­tions that use need so rarely and clog up your hard drive the rest of the time. iCon­vert is one of those webapps. And it get the job done more smi­ply, and eas­ily than any desk­top icon cre­ator i’ve ever used.
