sound causes little puffs of air to come out of the phone's speaker. not enough to really notice when you are on the phone, but apparently enough to push some styrofoam around.
= brilliant.
Sound pressure I guess? Hard to imagine that puny speaker could move that much air though. And I wonder if the frequency/amplitude required to make a tiny speaker move that much air might be enough to cause damage over time. Either way, totally cool!
ok, so i get the air pressure thing. But still, how does it KNOW when one player scores?……. spooky…
